Hit The Apple is a fun archery game in which you have to hit an apple off of a man's head with a bow and arrow.
The first level of Hit The Apple places you quite close to the man. If you hit the apple successfully without shooting the man then you move to the next level, where you'll be placed a little further away from the target, and so on. Hit the man and it's game over. Miss the apple and the man and you get to try the level over.
The controls in Hit The Apple are based around angling the bow by sliding your finger up and down. The longer you hold your finger down for the more power you will get, as indicated by the power bar. It's a pretty simple control system, though it often means your finger ends up obscuring the target.
The cartoon graphics in Hit The Apple are great fun, although not recommended for under 18s, since there's a lot of blood. When you hit the man with the arrow, the extent of his injuries is shown explicitly, whether it be his arms falling out or his brains coming out the back of his head. Since Hit The Apple is made in a cartoon way this is funny, but it's not appropriate for minors.
Hit The Apple is fun to pick up and play but ulimately the game is very repetitive and there's little variety to spice it up.
